Children's Memorial Hospital makes every effort to ensure that all of the transactions that occur on its Web site are secure. All credit card numbers submitted to the site are encrypted using "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) encryption—the industry standard for information security. Information about what you ordered is retained for our records, but never shared with third parties.

Privacy

Children's Memorial Hospital is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its online guests, customers, members, donors, and friends. We do not collect personal information about individuals—such as names and postal and/or e-mail addresses—except when it is knowingly provided by such individuals.

When you make a purchase, we will ask you to provide information necessary to fulfill your order. This same information is requested when you place an order by telephone or through the mail. For online orders we also require your email address and telephone so you can receive order and shipping confirmation emails and queries if we have difficulty processing your order.

We do not make our customer information available to any other organizations or companies. However, we occasionally contact our online customers with promotional email announcements.
