Imprinting

Add your own message to the inside of cards and your return address to the envelope flap. Card text is printed in 12 pt uppercase Copperplate Gothic using black ink. Envelope text is printed in 8pt uppcercase Copperplate Gothic, also in black ink. (Other fonts and ink colors may be requested.) Card imprinting includes up to three lines of 50 characters and spaces each. Envelope imprinting includes up to four lines of 30 characters (including spaces) each. Imprint orders must be submitted online, via fax, or by mail. Two pack per order minimum, $12.50 per pack.

Custom artwork

Your logo or signature can be printed on the inside of cards. The maximum printed dimensions for artwork are 4.25" wide x 1.25" high. Multiple signatures/logos must be submitted as one piece of artwork. Camera-ready artwork must be submitted at the size it will appear on the card. Acceptable forms of artwork are a crisp black & white laser print or black & white digital file (EPS, TIFF, or JPEG only). Custom logo/signature orders must be submitted online or by mail only. Two pack per order minimum, $25.00 per pack.

Gift messages

Your gift can include a personalized message printed on the packing slip. The message includes one line of up to 30 characters (including spaces). To add a message, check the box "Send as gift" on the Shipping page as you checkout.

Payment options

To place an order online, you must use a credit card. We accept American Express, Discover, VISA and MasterCard.

When ordering by regular mail, you may also pay by check or money order made payable to Children's Memorial Hospital.  Please reference "The Store" in the memo area of your check. Checks must be in United States dollars and drawn on a United States bank. Please do not send cash or international money orders.

Returns

Merchandise

Within 30 days of delivery of a shipment, you may return any of the items you purchased from the Store, for any reason, for a full refund. We'll also refund you the shipping cost if the return is a result of our error. We cannot accept items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Cards

Notecards and holiday cards may only be returned due to an error made by Children's Expressions. (eg. spelling, punctuation, damage).

Sales tax

Children's Memorial Hospital is required by law to add 9% sales tax to all orders shipped to an Illinois address. Sales tax is computed before shipping and delivery charges. Donations are tax exempt.

Shipping and delivery

Once your credit card is processed, you will be receiving an electronic copy of your order detailing the billing and shipping addresses, product description and total cost.

All merchandise will ship within 5 standard business days once you receive the electronic confirmation mentioned above. Standard business days for the Store are Monday through Friday, with the exception of the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Overnight delivery on the cards is offered.
