Timing
|
The 5k course is USATF certified (IL-04061-JW) and professionally timed. All participants in the 5K run will receive a timing chip on race day, the 1 mile fun walk will not be timed. Time clocks will also be displayed at miles one, two and the finish.

Packet Pick-Up
|
Day-of Race packet pickup is available from 5 pm to 6 pm at the race site in Lincoln Park.
Timing chips will be available for pick up at the race. Please get their early to claim your
timing chip.

Gear Check
|
On-site gear check is available for all participants.
|
|
Parking
|
Parking is available on Cannon Drive and at the various public lots surrounding Lincoln Park & Diversey Harbor.
|
|
Public Transportation
|
CTA Brown and Purple lines stop at Fullerton. For more information on public transportation, visit the CTA website at www.transitchicago.com.

Post Event
|
Enjoy complimentary food and beverages, live music and entertainment for the whole family!

|
Results will be posted on www.childrensmemorial.org/yab.

Prizes
|
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
- Top Male & Female Finisher: A Four Seasons Chicago or
Ritz-Carlton getaway package
- Top Three Fundraisers: A Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton getaway
package (top two fundraisers also receive two roundtrip air tickets on United Airlines)
- Top Fundraising Team: $40 gift certificates to new Adidas store
in Chicago for all team members (20 members max)
- Participants who raise $50 (1 raffle ticket) or $100 (2 raffle
tickets) are eligible to win exciting prizes including gift certificates from the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and other area restaurants and stores
- Prizes will be awarded immediately following the conclusion of
the Run/Walk
- Prizes are subject to change

Afterparty
|
An afterparty for all participants and volunteers will be held at Matilda's in Lakeview
(3101 N. Sheffield Ave). Admission is free and all participants will receive a free drink
coupon.
