Our community

Chicago is a vibrant and diverse city of nearly 3 million people with world-renowned shopping, dining, museums, architecture, theater, music and six professional sports teams. It features 31 miles of lakefront paths and 550 parks. We have over 200 annual parades and festivals each year. The city is divided into several unique neighborhoods, each with its own local flavor.

The hospital is located in the heart of Lincoln Park on the north side of the city. The neighborhood is complete with restaurants, bars, shopping, nightlife and much more. We're adjacent to DePaul University and only steps away from Lake Michigan. Many of our residents live in the neighborhood as it offers myriad housing options for rental or purchase.

A closely affiliated center known as Children's Memorial Pediatrics - Uptown is located just 10 minutes north of the hospital in the Uptown neighborhood and serves an ethically diverse immigrant population.

Residents spend a few months at Prentice Women's Hospital located Downtown in Streeterville on Northwestern University's Medical Campus. We also rotate at Evanston Hospital located about 30 minutes north of Chicago.
