Final Step to Heliport Approval for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
Following City approval earlier this year for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, including the heliport; and recent Federal Aviation Administration approval for the heliport, the final step is approval from the Illinois Department of Insurance (IDOT). IDOT is in the process of reviewing our application to operate the heliport. We expect that a public hearing will occur in the early part of 2009. IDOT will then issue its final decision.
