The best possible hospital experience integrates compassionate, family-centered care. That's why we encourage our patient families to connect with pediatric experts in these special areas, including:

• ParentWISE, connecting families whose common bond is their child's disease or treatment protocol.
• Ethics consultants to help families facing difficult decisions about care.
• Heartlight, offering support and a safe place for families to be together while coping with the death of a child.
• Suggestions, by age, on dealing with children and grief.
• More state and local resources.

In addition, unique programs and spaces within the hospital help promote healing, discovery and development through support, play and education.
