Children’s Memorial Hospital’s Web site wins three Greystone awards and two 2006 eHealthcare Leadership awards

November 15, 2006 — Children's Memorial Hospital is pleased announce that the hospital's Web site received five awards during the 2006 Tenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference held in Atlanta in November. Children's Memorial received three awards from Greystone.Net and two in eHealthcare Leadership from Health Care Communications.

Greystone.Net's Best In Class Award for Best Web Site Interactivity

The three Greystone awards are a “gold” 2006 Greystone.Net Best In Class Award for Best Web Site Interactivity; a “silver” award for Most Innovative Use of Technology for a Web Site; and another “silver” for Most Innovative Web Site . This year there were nearly 100 entries in the Greystone program.

Children's Memorial's two awards from Health Care Communications are a “gold” award in eHealthcare Leadership for Best Staff Recruitment among hospitals in the 200-399 bed range and a “distinction” for Best e-Business in the same bed range. Sites receiving the 2006 eHealthcare Leadership Awards were selected from more than 1,100 entries.

Georgia-based Greystone.Net, established in 1996, provides Internet and World Wide Web consulting services for a wide array of healthcare organizations. Greystone awards were presented in eleven categories.

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards program was developed and first presented seven years ago by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, a well known Internet resource published by Health Care Communications. Winners of platinum, gold, silver, and distinction awards from Health Care Communications represented 17 industry classifications, from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and online health companies. Awards were given in 12 different categories.

The Tenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference was sponsored by Greystone.Net in cooperation with the Chicago-based Forum for Healthcare strategists.
