July Construction Update
Children’s Memorial Hospital continues construction on Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago at 225 E. Chicago Ave. (next to Northwestern Memorial’s Prentice Women’s Hospital).
During July, we will continue steel installation and pouring of concrete for each floor. You may notice increased truck activity related to steel delivery and some noise as the steel beams are eased into place. Work will generally occur Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to late afternoon or early evening, and Saturdays from 8am to late afternoon. Work on Sundays is possible to continue timely completion of construction. All work will be performed consistent with the City noise code requirements.

Children's Memorial held the 2nd Annual Construction Update meeting about 2009 construction plans for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Hospital leaders and our construction management team presented plans and answered questions about the new building.
