Provides strategic and operational leadership
for the following areas: Security,
Concierge, Valet, Parking, Shuttles and Property Management. Establishes, promotes and maintains
organizational security and protection programs. Oversees property management functions
including facilities maintenance, supplies acquisition and distribution,
environmental services, contracted services that support the renovation and
maintenance of the facility.
Area Specific Job
Accountabilities:

Establishes
operational procedures for activities such as customer service excellence,
quality assurance, and patient safety for the departments of security,
concierge, valet, parking and shuttles.

Acts
as liaison between the organization, community leaders and local authorities
such as law enforcement and fire department.

Directs
efficient and effective department operation for security, concierge, valet,
parking and shuttle service. Assures compliance with all JCAHO, State, Federal
and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.

Develops
and maintains the security management program for the organization.

Develops,
provides and presents safety and security topics for new employee
orientation. Topics: Security and Safety Training, Fire
Safety, Infant Abduction, MSDS, Emergency Preparedness, and EMTALA Education
Training.

Works and
collaborates with Real Estate & Facilities Services, Support Services
Departments and other organizational departments and leadership to assure the
efficient management of hospital properties. Develops and promotes positive working
relationships with tenants and other departments.

Assures
an organized, informed and responsive department to interface with
contractors, support services and internal and external contracted
services.

Assures
compliance with safety codes and other regulations established by city, state
and federal governments, and all authorities having jurisdiction.

Works
with the finance and legal departments to maintain a lease administration
system. Acts as a liaison between
the hospital and tenants regarding lease related issues. Sets rental rates based on market and
oversees the record keeping and collection of rent. Assists the organization's legal
counsel in the preparation of real estate and/or construction contracts and
related documents.

Develops
and directs all on-site building operations, maintenance and repairs. Assures maintenance of leased
properties. Manages building
suites, clinics and retail and residential properties.
Requirements
-
High
school diploma or equivalent experience, bachelors degree preferred.

Minimum
5 years experience working in safety/security and/or property management
field.

Minimum
5 years of related managerial experience.

Must
be familiar with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

Must be
able to manage in a fast paced and stressful
environment.
