If the director of your graduate program has not received the Children's Memorial Hospital Administrative Fellowship recruitment packet, please e-mail Colin Harding, administrative fellow, to have an information packet sent to you.

What is the salary for a fellow?
Children's Memorial Hospital's fellowship salary is competitive with other programs.

Does the fellow have any benefits?
The fellow receives eight paid holidays per year and accrues both vacation and sick days. The fellow and his/her dependents are eligible for full health coverage.

Can the fellowship be used as a residency opportunity in order to complete my master's degree?
No, the fellowship is a post-graduate position. Applicants must have fulfilled their requirements for their degree before beginning the fellowship.

How well known is the fellowship throughout the organization?
Under the guidance of the preceptor, the fellow works closely with the senior executive leadership team. The fellow also accepts projects throughout the organization depending on his/her areas of focus, and reports directly to the project manager. As a recommendation and also demonstrated by our fellow, the fellow actively participates in corporate and community social events. Our fellow has exposure throughout the organization; therefore, the fellowship is well known.

Will the fellowship lead to a position with Children's Memorial Hospital?
According to the American College Healthcare Executive (ACHE)'s fellowship guideline, there is no formal obligation from either party to either offer or accept a post-fellowship position.
