Employee transportation

Children’s Memorial Hospital is committed to providing convenient transportation options to all employees.  Below are the various transportation options available to employees: 

CTA

We are conveniently located near several CTA train and bus stops.  The Red, Purple and Brown line trains all stop at Fullerton, which is approximately 4 blocks from the main campus.  From the Fullerton stop, walk east on Fullerton (about 3 blocks) and then south on Lincoln Avenue (one block).

The following CTA buses stop at the corner of Fullerton and Halsted (which is just ½ block north of the hospital):

• #8 Halsted (northbound or southbound)  
• #11 Lincoln (northbound or southbound)
• #74 Fullerton (eastbound)
• #37 Sedgwick/Ogden (northbound)

Metra and Shuttle

Shuttle service is available from all major Metra-rail train stations to the main hospital campus for a discounted fee.  Shuttles are available at multiple times in both the morning and afternoon. 

Parking 

Parking is an important accommodation in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. There are several employee parking options, and discounted rates are offered to all Children’s Memorial employees. Employees may park at the main hospital parking garage at 2316 W. Lincoln Avenue or at either of the parking garages at the Outpatient Center in Lincoln Park (467 W. Deming Place and 2515 N. Clark Street).  Free shuttles are available from the Outpatient Center to the main hospital.
