Children’s Memorial Hospital postgraduate administrative fellowship program
Children's Memorial Hospital is a freestanding pediatric academic medical center. Our one-year postgraduate fellowship is designed to provide a focus on pediatric healthcare issues. The administrative fellow will work closely with the senior leadership team of Children's Memorial Hospital on operational and strategic initiatives. The objectives of the fellowship are to provide leadership training and growth, contribute to the organization thorough specific assignments and responsibilities, and develop a mentoring relationship for future professional development.
Application process
Candidate must have an MHA, MPA, or MBA with a concentration in healthcare, or equivalent from an accredited graduate program. Candidates typically have limited work experience ranging from summer internships to full-time work experience prior to graduate school. Interested applicant should submit the following information in ONE packet no later than November 1, 2007:
- Resume
- Cover letter
- A one- to two-page personal statement addressing career goals, your decision to pursue a fellowship experience and specific expectations of the Children's Memorial Hospital fellowship
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official graduate transcript
- In one page or less, address current challenges facing the pediatric healthcare market
- Supplemental information submission
