Wish List Auxiliary

 

 

The Wish List Auxiliary is dedicated to supporting the Family Services Department of Children’s Memorial Hospital by providing for the emotional and psychological needs of the children currently under their care.  Since its inception more than 26 years ago, The Wish List Auxiliary has raised more than $1 million to fund supplies, materials and equipment for Children's Memorial patients and their families.  

The Wish List Auxiliary helps provide a sense of normalcy to children who are unable to live a normal life.   Donations raised throughout the year are used to purchase toys, books, games and art supplies for the playrooms at the hospital.  Other initiatives that the Wish List supports include Heartlight, a support group that helps children cope with the passing of a sibling; Project Open Book, which distributes over 1,600 books to outpatients each month; tutoring services; and Skylight TV, which supplies internal TV child-oriented programming for the hospital's patients.
