Dance Marathon is coming to Chicago!

We are a group of young professionals dedicated to making a difference in the life of a child – one dollar, one hour, one dance at a time.Our aspiration is to take the concept of collegiate Dance Marathons and expand it to a national and international level, beginning with the city of Chicago in 2010. Dance Marathons have grown significantly at the collegiate level; however, no one has tried to take the idea and expand it into a city-wide event. We hope to create a new Dance Marathon model that will spread from city to city nationwide, helping more children all over the country!

We are currently gathering anyone interested in helping us make CHICAGO Dance Marathon one of the city's premiere charity events. We have several openings left on the executive council as well as numerous chair and committee positions available. There is no need to have participated in Dance Marathon before. If you can help spread the word about CHICAGO Dance Marathon, start creating a fundraising team or have ideas on how to make CHICAGO Dance Marathon a success, we want to hear from you!

Applications for the executive positions are due Monday December 1, by 5pm and applications for chair and committee positions are due by 12pm on Sunday December 7.
