Health topics
There are many problems that may affect a child's urinary
tract and genitalia that require clinical care by a pediatric urologist or other
healthcare professional.
The most common conditions include urinary tract infections, wetting,
hernias, hydroceles, undescended testes, urinary reflux and hypospadias. Other
more complex problems include such conditions as neurogenic bladder (spina
bifida), bladder exstrophy, intersex, pre-natal identification and
more.
In these pages, we have provided a brief overview of some of these
conditions.
