"Happy bladder" diet
The diet here is helpful in approximately ten percent of children who wet.

Avoid milk and milk products after noon: NO cheese on pizza; NO after-dinner ice cream
|
Water

NO drinks with carbonation (Coke, Pepsi, 7 Up, diet drinks etc.) or with artificial colors (Koolaid ®, Hawaiian Punch, Hi-C, etc.)
|
Cranberry juice
|
|
NO citric acid (orange, lemon, grapefruit)
|
Nectars
|
|
Avoid vitamins with artificial color and Vitamin C
|
Apple juice
|
|
NO coffee, tea (caffeine)
|
Natural juices (without citric acid or artificial additives)
|
|
NO melons, watermelons, cantaloupe
|
|
|
No heavily sugared foods or candy
|
|
Follow diet for two weeks then gradually reintroduce foods. Watch for wetting again.
