Liver transplant program

Pediatric liver transplant volumes and outcomes

Volumes

The Pediatric Liver Transplant Program at Children’s Memorial Hospital is the largest in Illinois, performing 75 percent of all liver transplants in the state, and consistently ranks among the top centers in volume nationwide. Our team has managed over 600 liver transplant patients and performed 260 liver transplants through June 2009. The program consistently ranks among the top 10 centers in volume and has performed the 8th highest number of transplants in the nation since its inception.
