Child maltreatment presentations

This project is the result of the generous support of Northern Trust. It consists of ten lectures aimed at educating the community about child maltreatment. Specifically, ten professions are targeted:

Child welfare professionals - The purpose of this lecture is to assist child welfare professionals in identifying and responding to allegations of child maltreatment. (71:13)

Law enforcement officers - The purpose of this lecture is to assist law enforcement officers in identifying and responding to allegations of child maltreatment. (70:10)

Medical social workers - The purpose of this lecture is to assist medical social workers in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (66:00)

Nurses - The purpose of this lecture is to assist nurses in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (45:42)

Child life specialists - The purpose of this lecture is to assist child life specialists in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (41:46)

Chaplains - The purpose of this lecture is to assist chaplains in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (47:33)

Teachers - The purpose of this lecture is to assist teachers in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (40:02)

Childcare providers - The purpose of this lecture is to assist childcare providers in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (42:12)

Graduate social work students - The purpose of this lecture is to assist graduate social work students in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (65:11)

Community professionals including case managers, home visitors and social service workers - The purpose of this lecture is to assist community professionals in identifying and responding to suspicions of child maltreatment. (40:23)
