Fellowship information
Pediatric Surgery
The Division of Pediatric General Surgery of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine offers a two-year fellowship in pediatric surgery. Approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the program is based at Children's Memorial Hospital. Fellows are exposed to the complexities and difficulties of caring for neonates, children with cancer, and young victims of trauma, respiratory failure, and end-stage organ disease leading to transplantation.
Upon successful completion of the fellowship, participants receive the Certificate of Special Competence in Pediatric Surgery from the American Board of Surgery. More information is available here on the Feinberg school's site.
Pediatric Surgery Critical Care

Approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the program is based at Children's Memorial Hospital. Fellows are exposed to the complexities and difficulties of caring for neonates, children with cancer, and young victims of trauma, respiratory failure, and end-stage organ disease leading to transplantation.
