The care of youngsters with abnormalities of the brain or spinal cord is
often very complicated. It requires the best minds from at least two major
disciplines — neurology and neurosurgery — and is best
coordinated in specific centers geared to specific problems.
At Children's Memorial Hospital, these disciplines join their efforts — along
with those of other pediatric subspecialists, such as those in oncology (cancer
treatment), radiology, neuropsychology and others — in the Falk Brain Tumor Center and
in Children's Epilepsy
