Pitching research
Our Sports Biomechanics Program is committed
to scientific research. In conjunction with physicians and faculty of
Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, we conduct research to further
our understanding of baseball-related injuries and performance factors.
Presently, nearly 60 youth pitchers are enrolled in a multi-year study
exploring the relationship between pitching mechanics, physical factors, and
injuries.
