A Vicon 612 motion capture system is incorporated with a Motion Lab Systems 16 channel electromyography unit for the EMG section of the test. For the lower extremity analysis, special force sensing plates are embedded in the floor, providing information such as joint powers. A lightweight digital video recorder is used for the video analysis. For the occupational therapy section, a dynamometer (grip strength tool), goniometer (measures joint angles) and Jebson Taylor Test equipment (for functional assessment) are used. Oxygen Consumption Analysis utilizes a Cosmed K4b2 cardiopulmonary system. A Tekscan FMAT and inserts are used to perform the foot pressure analyses.
