Motion Analysis Center

Why should athletes receive an analysis?

3-image of pitching motion Our state-of-the-art technology produces sophisticated 3-D animations of the athlete's pitching motion.

Nearly 40% of young pitchers will at some point experience injury. The leading cause of these injuries is overuse, which is why guidelines have been developed to limit the number of pitches thrown by young athletes. Our program helps reduce the rate of injury in individual athletes to keep players on the field, pitching at their best.

The pitching biomechanics analysis can benefit pitchers in a variety of ways. This analysis identifies any flaws in the pitching motion or pitching habits and provides individualized recommendations to improve efficiency and performance and reduce the risk of injury. Athletes who undergo testing will be given the tools to improve velocity, control and consistency.

Pitching analysis can also indentify potential risk factors for injury by determining stresses at the athlete's joints. Even pitchers who have been injured or experienced pain in the past can use this analysis to gain insight as to why they may have become injured. This analysis is ideal for individuals looking to become better, stronger pitchers and want to learn more about the art and science of pitching.
