The program's services
The Mucopolysaccharidoses and Mucolipidoses Treatment Program offers a full range of services including the following:
- Comprehensive coordination of care with multiple pediatric specialists for these multi-system disorders at one of the nation's top children's hospitals
- Expertise in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of all MPS and ML disorders
- Extensive experience providing enzyme replacement therapy (ERT)
- On-site stem cell transplantation program experienced in the treatment of MPS and ML patients
- Genetic counseling and carrier testing for MPS and ML
- Bilingual staff to assure excellent service to all families
- A team-like approach to ensure that families have a clear understanding of the disorder and treatment options
