  • Fetal health
The Institute for Fetal Health provides counseling and specialty pediatric care planning to the parents-to-be of babies diagnosed with medical problems before birth. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the Institute works closely with parents, the local obstetrical care team, and the family pediatrician to plan the best care following delivery. All surgical and medical specialties except psychiatry participate in this program and are committed to seeing patients on short notice. Scheduling is done through the Institute, and some consultations may be available at suburban locations. The program coordinator can answer questions about the scope of each specialty and the choice of consultants required.
