The Division of Dentistry consists of the Dentistry Department and Oral Surgery Department providing comprehensive and preventive oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs.

Children's Memorial Dentistry provides a child-centered environment and a comprehensive program emphasizing total health and prevention.

The following is a list of the types of conditions and diseases treated in the Division of Dentistry:

  • Infant oral healthcare with parent education
  • Nursing and baby bottle caries
  • Dental caries
  • Oral trauma
  • The anxious child
  • Comprehensive oral healthcare for Children's Memorial medical specialties (i.e.; hematology, oncology, infectious disease, allergy, cardiology, neurology, cleft lip and palate)
  • Sedation, general anesthesia
