Inner City Asthma Study
The Inner City Asthma Study is a multi-center study sponsored by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Asthma in inner city children tends to be more severe and more difficult to treat for a variety of reasons. The study is currently studying to see if Xolair (anti-IgE therapy) can positively affect asthma in inner city children.
