The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Children's Memorial Hospital uses an integrated team approach to the care of children with asthma, allergy, and immune deficiencies. The dedication of the team's physicians, a pediatric nurse practitioner, pediatric nursing staff, and the support provided by the office personnel ensures the best possible care for affected children.
The integrated team approach also applies to the care of children with food allergy. The first of its kind in Illinois, the Bunning Food Allergy Institute seeks to improve the lives of children and families affected by food allergy and establish Children's Memorial Hospital as a center of clinical excellence.
