Research
The physicians of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics
conduct clinical research , epidemiologic studies, and engage in analytic/theoretical
scholarship in a variety of areas including injury prevention,
epidemiology of common infections, medical ethics, child abuse, chronic
fatigue syndrome, maternal-infant attachment, prevention of lead poisoning,
high-risk adolescent behavior, neurofibromatosis and health literacy.
The faculty members provide core teaching in pediatrics for medical students,
residents, GAP fellows and others.
